GT3 LAVAREDO | Cross Triathlon

The GT3 LAVAREDO Gravel Cross Triathlon is a true triathlon in the Dolomites because it starts from the clear waters of Lake Santa Caterina in Auronzo di Cadore and winds along the most spectacular trails of these mountains, until it reaches the most spectacular of this UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Tre Cime. Here, the triathlon race ends, in a setting of incredible beauty.

Due to the nature of the course, it can only be an off road triathlon, which we nevertheless wanted to make inclusive. Although it was created specifically for gravel bikes, it is also a mountain bike triathlon and, if desired, also for road bikes with appropriate tires (see regulations).

• From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.: setup and opening of the exhibition stand in the GT3-Expo area on Lungolago Santa Caterina in Auronzo di Cadore.

  • 08:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Setup and opening of the booths in the GT3-Expo exhibition area on the Santa Caterina Lakefront in Auronzo di Cadore;

  • 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM:

    • License check for the Auronzo Cross Country Triathlon;

    • Race pack and gadget pickup at the Pala Tre Cime secretariat in Via Zardus, Auronzo di Cadore;

  • 02:00 PM: Race start – Auronzo Cross Country Triathlon;

  • 04:30 PM: Final award ceremony – Auronzo Cross Country Triathlon;

  • 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM:

    • License check for the Tre Cime Gravel Cross Triathlon;

    • Race pack and gadget pickup at the Pala Tre Cime secretariat in Via Zardus, Auronzo di Cadore;

    • Mandatory sign-in on the general board next to the participant’s bib number;

  • 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM:

    • Drop-off at the secretariat of the bags for transition zone T2 and the finish line at Rifugio Auronzo;

  • 06:30 PM: Pre-race technical briefing for the Tre Cime Gravel Cross Triathlon with the Head Referee (in-person, with video/slides published online).

  • 08:30 AM – 08:00 PM: GT3-Expo exhibition area open;

  • 08:00 AM – 09:30 AM:

    • License check for the Tre Cime Gravel Cross Triathlon;

    • Race pack and gadget pickup at the Pala Tre Cime secretariat in Via Zardus, Auronzo di Cadore;

    • Mandatory sign-in on the general board next to the participant’s bib number;

  • 08:00 AM: Transition Zone T1 opens at Lake Santa Caterina, Auronzo;

  • 09:30 AM: Transition Zone T1 closes;

  • 08:00 AM – 09:30 AM: Drop-off at the secretariat of the bags for transition zone T2 and the finish line at Rifugio Auronzo;

  • 10:00 AM: Pre-race technical briefing with the Head Referee;

  • 10:30 AM: Race start – Tre Cime Gravel Cross Triathlon, starting with the 1st women’s wave of the swim leg, followed by all other waves (based on ranking);

  • 04:00 PM: Final award ceremony for the overall men’s and women’s top finishers and Teams – Tre Cime Gravel Cross Triathlon.
